00:00:00.359 –> 00:00:11.969
The Our Shawn: Hey everyone, are Sean McBride with you here bringing you another motivational minute here on the McBride for business YouTube channel. Let’s talk about rebuilding your motivation every day. And this may be one of the hardest parts.

00:00:12.330 –> 00:00:19.980
The Our Shawn: In getting to goal achievement to doing the things we want to do, right. A lot of us are guilty of and certainly have had these times in my life to

00:00:20.340 –> 00:00:26.910
The Our Shawn: We go. We get excited we get motivated and we’re going, going, going, going, going, and then the motivation runs out.

00:00:27.300 –> 00:00:36.210
The Our Shawn: Right, this is just seems to be natural human things squirrel things pop up we’re going other directions and we lose that motivational

00:00:36.720 –> 00:00:45.900
The Our Shawn: Drive. So I want to bring home some key tips on how we stay motivated, how we keep things moving to our goals and get their number one.

00:00:46.800 –> 00:00:51.900
The Our Shawn: I think this is very important. We need to daydream and develop goals. So we need to spend time

00:00:52.590 –> 00:01:02.280
The Our Shawn: Figuring out what we want to do and a lot of people miss this step right they get goals from other people, their boss or supervisor their friends or family their loved ones.

00:01:02.640 –> 00:01:10.890
The Our Shawn: And they’re like running for other people’s goals and they’re not running for their goals. And that’s a huge mistake. You need to be planning for your goals, who you want to be what you want to accomplish.

00:01:11.220 –> 00:01:19.170
The Our Shawn: Right, so start working and driving and working towards your dreams, your goals and figure out what they are. So really make that concrete.

00:01:19.500 –> 00:01:27.420
The Our Shawn: And focus on those goals and we start seeing motivation slip go back and refocus on the why you’re doing it right.

00:01:27.870 –> 00:01:36.930
The Our Shawn: And that brings us to tip number two, which is to visualize those goals. And there’s a lot of different ways to do this. Some people build a vision board, they’ll build a big board that does stick on the wall.

00:01:37.320 –> 00:01:46.890
The Our Shawn: Or in the corner on their door where it’ll show them what they’re striving for Eclipse of the house. They want pictures of the vacations. They want to take

00:01:47.190 –> 00:01:54.990
The Our Shawn: Really build a deep vision and dream, and this is a great way to connect back to part one, which is what your goals are to visualize them.

00:01:55.320 –> 00:02:01.200
The Our Shawn: Where you can do this a mental exercise myself. I have some links to some websites and different things. I want to accomplish in my life.

00:02:01.590 –> 00:02:08.700
The Our Shawn: And I go in there, periodically and I check them and it keeps me read motivated because I can see what I want and where I’m going.

00:02:09.600 –> 00:02:14.310
The Our Shawn: And the third part of this is to build systems and processes in your life.

00:02:14.850 –> 00:02:20.970
The Our Shawn: So you want to achieve these big goals. What are the systems and processes to get there. What are you doing every day.

00:02:21.360 –> 00:02:34.890
The Our Shawn: What is your checklist to get done. How are your systems and structures. How are you structuring your day to move you towards your goals. What micro goals are you working on to get you to your bigger goals. Right, so like when I was building my speaking career.

00:02:36.000 –> 00:02:48.540
The Our Shawn: I wanted to speak frequently at small events to get my name out there to get practice to become a better speaker. And so I could track that micro goal of getting on a lot of stages and that led to a TEDx talk where I spoke at TEDx women.

00:02:48.960 –> 00:02:59.550
The Our Shawn: And then that brought things forward. It really up my speaking game, but it was a very intentional micro goal when I was looking at the number of events. I was speaking as broadly speaking at too many events, to be honest.

00:02:59.910 –> 00:03:04.620
The Our Shawn: But it was building for the future. And it was part of the bigger goal, right. So what are your micro goals.

00:03:04.920 –> 00:03:11.250
The Our Shawn: And what systems, processes and tasks are you doing to get you to your micro goals, right, if you want to speak like I did.

00:03:11.640 –> 00:03:19.950
The Our Shawn: Who are you calling you know and who are you offering to speak with and, you know, right now, obviously, with the changes. Maybe you can’t speak in person. But how can you speak.

00:03:20.610 –> 00:03:24.030
The Our Shawn: On video. What can you do to get sticks things up in the

00:03:24.510 –> 00:03:30.420
The Our Shawn: Up to the next level. So a couple, three big things here, build those goals envision those goals.

00:03:30.660 –> 00:03:36.690
The Our Shawn: And then set systems and process working with us if you work on those three things that’s going to bring you back your motivation every day.

00:03:36.960 –> 00:03:44.310
The Our Shawn: I’d love to hear what’s working for you drop some comments at the bride for business YouTube channel. I want to hear what’s really working your well Alright folks.

00:03:44.670 –> 00:03:52.650
